The Centralia softball team finished second in Class 3 last year, and much of that 29-4 squad returns for 2025. Coach Liz Bostick says coming up just short is motivating her players this year.
The returning group includes three All-State players from last year: pitcher Jaylynn Brown, and infielders Madi Johnson and Cora King. The Panthers will play a competitive schedule, including a tournament in Kansas City the first weekend where the Panthers will face Class 4 runner-up Belton. Bostick adds the Clarence Cannon Conference will be as strong as usual.
Centralia opens at Rock Bridge on August 28th. Hear from Coach Bostick and all of our softball coaches on the NEMO Pressbox Preseason Softball Show Monday, August 25th, at 6 pm.
