Kirksville scored all of the goals in the second half and stayed in the NCMC title hunt with a 3-0 victory over Moberly on Pink Out Night at Dr. Larry K. Noel-Spartan Stadium. After a scoreless first half, the Tigers’ assist leader and goals leader connected for what would prove to be the game-winner less than seven minutes after intermission:

Brad Boyer with the call on nemopressbox.com. Kirksville sophomore Alex Vincent then took over and scored goals at the 12:18 and 18:52 marks and he was named our Freeman Financial and Insurance Player of the Game.

Kirksville keeps pace with Marshall in the NCMC soccer race. The Owls beat Fulton to improve to 7-1, while the Tigers move to 5-1 and 10-4 overall. Moberly drops to 4-3 in the conference and 11-7 overall. The Spartans will next play at Hannibal on Tuesday. You can hear the broadcast by going to the Game Archive section of our website.
