MACC’s basketball teams were swept at Three Rivers Saturday night, with the women falling 87-57, and the men falling 75-61. The Lady Hounds only trailed by six at the half but couldn’t get any closer. Jeannie Scott finished with 18 points. Calise Chisholm had 17 points and 10 rebounds. With the NJCAA this week making the Lady Hounds forfeit several first semester wins due to a clerical error, the team is now unofficially 7-16, and 2-5 in Region 16. They are at Crowder Wednesday. The men had an 18-game winning streak snapped, only briefly getting the deficit under ten in the second half. Javaris Moye had 17 and Ade Popoola had 15. The Greyhounds are 20-4, 6-1 in the region. They play at West Plains Wednesday. Three Rivers is 14-8, 4-2.
