After nine straight losing seasons, Salisbury football went 8-3 under first-year head coach Zech Bowman last year.
The majority of that team returns this year, including quarterback Patrick White.
Other All-Conference returners are running back Brayden White, WR/DB Gavin Binder and OL/LB Isaac Bearden, who was also a NEMO Pressbox Star at linebacker.
Despite the success, the Panthers are driven by the end of last season, a 42-6 loss to Tipton.
Bowman explains how the mindset shifts while now dealing with the pressure of expectation.
Salisbury opens the season at home against Midway.
You can hear from Bowman and other NEMO Pressbox football coaches on our preview show Tuesday, August 26th starting at 6.
