Ryder Lewis led Macon with 15 and freshman Max Devenport had his best scoring game with four three-pointers for 12. The Tigers drop to 1-7. It was the first time that Montgomery County and Macon boys played since 1959.

The Montgomery County girls used a late foul count to their advantage in holding on for a 43-40 win over Macon, at the MACC Activity Center. Leading by three and with only one team foul, the Lady Wildcats strategically used three fouls in the final 13 seconds to force Macon into a desperation three-pointer at the buzzer that was no good.

The Tigerettes did erase an eight point deficit in the fourth quarter with the help of MaKenzie Hessell:

Hessell finished with 17. The Tigerettes drop to 4-5. Emma Rodgers led all scorers with 21 points, including 7-of-8 from the line to earn our Freeman Financial and Insurance Player of the Game award. The Lady Wildcats improve to 6-3.
