New Franklin’s softball team is looking to build on last year’s 20-5 record, with the season ending in the district semifinals with a 4-2 loss to Glasgow. Coach Cory Nicholson says his team didn’t take the loss well.
Despite losing some talented seniors from last year, including All-State pitcher Brynn Belstle, Nicholson has a lot of experience returning.
New Franklin opens at Marceline on August 28th. Hear from Coach Nicholson and all of our softball coaches on the NEMO Pressbox Preseason Softball Show Monday, August 25th, at 6 pm.
