2025-26 Wrestlers of the Week – Brought to you by Shelton Seed

2/18 Moberly’s Breanne Gibbs won the Class 1 District 2 tournament with five wins by fall, all of them in under a minute. The three-time state champion picked up her 200th career win in the process.

2/11 South Callaway’s Ethan Munford went 6-0 for the week. He picked up four of those wins to take first at the MMA Colonels Classic.

2/4 North Callaway’s Kellen Long went 8-0 for the week, winning seven matches by fall and six of them in the first period. His other victory was a 16-1 tech fall.

1/28 Centralia’s Waylon Adkisson defeated returning Class 2 state finalist Carlos Juarez Ramirez of Mexico 11-9. It redeemed an earlier season loss and proved pivotal in a 39-36 dual win for the Panthers. Adkisson’s week also included a win by fall in 52 seconds in a dual against Odessa.

1/21 Palmyra’s Behrett Lorenson went 9-0 for the week, five of those wins coming to win the Quincy Invitational. He turned a 12 point deficit into a third period fall in the finals. It was the freshman’s 30th victory of the season and his first tournament win.

1/14 Centralia’s Rex Bryson won the Fred Ross Invitational, majoring Owen Diemoz of Class 4 Nixa in the finals and picking up a tech fall in just 39 seconds earlier in the tournament. He followed up Tuesday by pinning a fellow returning state champion in Collin Moore of North Callaway.

12/24 Marceline’s Carter Wallis won the Battle At Katy Trail and did so by tech-falling two-time state champion Garrett Beane of Lathrop. That was one of Wallis’ three techs along with four first period pins in the tournament.

12/17 Marceline’s Reece Stufflebean reached his 100th career win at the Versailles Invitational. He defeated returning state medalist Avery Young of Macon in a dual earlier in the week.

12/10 Hallsville’s Tyler Dumas went 6-0 with six first period falls in the Esmond Ford Memorial Tournament in St Louis.
